The musicians in Blindside have a diverse musical background and decades of entertainment experience. Blindside has performed with various lineups for the last 25 years or so. Our current setlist contains danceable, rock and blues tunes from the 70s up to present. The setlists are a comfortable blend of recognizable music as well as a touch of interesting "B side" tunes. You are likely to hear Edgar Winter, Foo Fighters, Blackberry Smoke, Sister Hazel and Pink Floyd all in the same set. Three part harmonies are tight and the musicianship is top-notch.
Jeff Bushman: Jeff has been a Central Wisconsin mainstay since 1969 when he performed his first gig. His first successful band was “WoodSonBush”, a household name in Central Wisconsin for years. A few years later Jeff formed the band “Sturgeon Eddy” which again took claim to one of Wisconsin’s finest rock bands. Jeff later did stints with “Tailspin” and the country band “Kentucky Blend, both very popular bands in their own right. The latest installment of Jeff Bushman bands is “Blindside” which formed late ‘90’s. 50+ years of rockin’ and still going strong!
Tim Jauernig: 40 years of playing guitar in and around Central Wisconsin and beyond. From country to southern rock, a little bit of hair metal, classic rock to blues. Electric and Acoustic. Even some occasional bass. Tim started playing at age 14. By 15, he had a gig with some friends playing at a local restaurant 6 nights a week. He was hooked. He's been doing it ever since. "The power of Rock compels!"
Jason Turk: 48 yrs of drumming to anything from polkas, country and western, jazz, and rock. Jason has performed in bands in Northern Minnesota, Seattle and Central Wisconsin. "I have been blessed with having stumbled into musical relationships with some very fine, accomplished players. This is a fun band with fun people." Other bands he has recently played in are Fat Chance, Biggfoot, Truth and the DeRailers.
Bruce Lammers: Bruce’s first bass teacher was Jimmy Johnson, who currently plays with James Taylor and Steve Gadd! He played with several Minnesota-based bands on the road in the 1980’s before moving to Wisconsin and becoming a weekend warrior. Wisconsin bands included Kentucky Blend, Johnny and the Motones, and Airkraft. Bruce is a founding member of Blindside and excited to be back!
